Earlier this month our founder and dear colleague Bart passed away. This unexpected event left us heartbroken.
Bart was an eccentric, tireless and straightforward person with a good heart. He was an excellent surgeon that explored the very boundaries of maxillofacial and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
His cleft surgery legacy will continue to live on.
